Dr. Pierre Tung

Veterinarian

With an impressive 43 years of experience in veterinary medicine, Dr. Pierre Tung brings a wealth of knowledge and compassion to his practice. He graduated from the University of Missouri–Columbia and has built his career on delivering conscientious, high-quality care to both patients and their owners. Dr. Tung places a strong emphasis on thoughtful communication and nurturing a loyal, committed staff. When he’s not at the clinic, Dr. Tung is likely enjoying one of his many hobbies—including pickleball, fitness training, drone and helicopter flying, hiking, archery, and skeet shooting. Aviation remains a lifelong passion.

Veterinarian

With over 42 years of experience in veterinary medicine, Dr. Kay Jones Tung brings a deep well of knowledge, compassion, and dedication to every patient she treats at Bridgeton Animal Hospital. A graduate of the University of Missouri, Dr. Kay has built her career on a simple but powerful philosophy: treating every animal as if they were her own. She sees her patients as family and is committed to delivering thorough, compassionate care that is tailored to each pet’s unique needs. Dr. Kay values the bonds she builds with both her patients and their owners, taking pride in developing meaningful, long-term relationships grounded in trust. When she’s not at the clinic, Dr. Kay enjoys traveling, hiking, and staying active—always embracing life with energy and enthusiasm.

Veterinarian

With 17 years of veterinary experience, Dr. Erick is known for his thoughtful, root-cause approach to patient care. A graduate of the University of Missouri, he is committed to thoroughly examining his patients and working collaboratively with pet owners to find treatment plans that are both effective and realistic. He believes in involving clients in the decision-making process to ensure the best possible outcomes for their pets. Outside the clinic, Dr. Erick enjoys spending time with his kids, exploring nature, and tackling household projects as the resident “Mr. Fix It.”

Office Manager

Lonni is our office manager who has worked with Bridgeton Animal Hospital since 2005, starting as our receptionist. She is originally from California with a background in veterinary medicine that began in 1995. When not caring for your babies, she enjoys spending time with her husband, their two adult children, reading, fishing, bird watching, and boating. She has several dogs, a quaker parrot, a leopard gecko, and a slew of koi fish.

Assistant Manager

Heather started volunteering at BAH when she was 14 years old. She was eventually hired on when she was old enough, and continued until she had to move, finishing up high school and college for an associate in veterinary technology. Since then, she has been back at BAH since 2007. Eventually, she became the assistant manager. You will see her a little bit everywhere, whether it’s at reception, doing tech work, or just helping out wherever needed. Since 14, she has gotten married, had a little girl who was born in 2019. She enjoys spending time with all of her extended family and especially just relaxing after a long day.

Shannon Pilgrim

Client Service Representative

Shannon Pilgrim has been a Client Service Representative in veterinary medicine for 27 years and is a graduate of Hazelwood Central. With a deep passion for animals, she takes pride in helping pet owners provide the best care possible so their companions can live long, healthy lives. Shannon brings warmth and experience to every client interaction, making sure each visit feels welcoming and informative. Outside of work, she enjoys visiting the zoo and art museums, attending baseball games, and spending quality time with family and friends.

Veterinary Assistant

Tiffany Lane has been in the veterinary field for six years, having studied veterinary assisting at North Tech. Known for her compassion and patient-centered care, Tiffany goes the extra mile to make every animal feel safe and comforted, especially those who are a little nervous about visiting the vet. She always hopes for the best outcomes for both pets and their families and brings an extra dose of patience and understanding to each interaction. At home, Tiffany enjoys movie and game nights with her children and shares her space with a lively mix of pets—including dogs, cats, and fish—making her home a constant source of joy and entertainment.

Veterinary Assistant

Emily Roberts has spent the past five years working as a veterinary technician and assistant, bringing heart and dedication to every patient interaction. A graduate of North Tech High School, Emily prides herself on the love and care she offers each animal she sees. Her compassionate approach and strong work ethic make her an integral part of the clinic team. Outside of work, Emily enjoys crafting, catching up on rest with a good nap, and spending meaningful time with her husband and kids.

Bre Mitchell

Veterinary Assistant

Bre Mitchell has been a dedicated veterinary assistant for the past four years. A graduate of Fort Zumwalt North High School, Bre finds fulfillment in the ever-changing nature of veterinary medicine. She thrives in the fast-paced environment of the clinic, where no two days are alike, and she enjoys the opportunity to meet and care for every patient—whether assisting during vaccine appointments or providing a comforting presence during lab work. Outside of work, Bre loves spending quality time with her son, watching Disney movies, and cheering on her husband at demolition derby events.
